Food Pantry

Benevolence ministry at Calvary.

Hope, Purpose, and Food

At the Calvary Church Food Pantry we provide food, free of charge, to families and individuals in need. Our dedicated team serves over 1,300 households and over 4,000 people each year and the needs are growing. People who currently reside in Citrus County may receive assistance for their household once every 30 days.

Our pantry is unique in that guests are given the opportunity to choose items that they need from its shelves, rather than receiving pre-packaged boxes or bags. This helps to ensure that groceries are used effectively and not wasted. We also also take time to pray with and minister to those who visit each week. God uses this time powerfully, displaying His great love and compassion for people.

Ministry Times

  • Thursdays | 10:00am - 12:00pm

What to bring

  • Valid Photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, or other government ID)
  • Proof of Citrus County residency (if photo ID does not show current Citrus County address, please bring a utility bill or similar)

Note: Guests must currently live in Citrus County to be eligible. Each household can receive assistance once per calendar month.
