There are several ministries at our church which are intended to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God and step into your calling as a believer. We encourage you to experience them all!

Starting Point is an introduction to the ministry of Calvary Church, highlighting our values, beliefs, and ministry structure. It provides a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about who God has called us to be as a church. Also, an opportunity to apply for church membership is extended at the end of the class.

Foundations is an 8-week course in which believers are empowered with basic, Biblical understanding to help them in their journey with Christ. It teaches the essential habits that every believer needs in order to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ. This course will also help you discover your unique personality, gifts, and purpose in life and see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.

Launch is a 1-day event that will equip you both spiritually and practically to serve in one of the many ministries at Calvary Church. This event will include specific ministry training and a time to receive prayer and blessing from the pastoral leadership of our church, as you endeavor to answer God’s call on your life.

Freedom at Calvary Church is defined as the unhindered ability to answer the call of God on your life. This ministry exists to provide every person with the opportunity to experience freedom in their life and be positioned to hear what God is saying to them. There are several stages and areas of ministry within Freedom, including Essentials, Encounter, and Sessions. 

ESSENTIALS

This class serves as the entry point to Freedom Ministry at Calvary. It teaches essential principles of freedom and lays the groundwork for you to hear the voice of the Lord. It also serves as a prerequisite to Encounter.

ENCOUNTER

This 2-day event is intended to help you personally connect with the voice of God. Encounter combines profound teachings with times of personal ministry to help you hear God in ways you have never heard Him before. It is a medium-to-large sized gathering, but it is designed to give you private moments with the Lord. You will not be expected to share personal details with others. The requirement for attending Encounter is completion of Essentials.

SESSIONS

Sessions include both topical group training and personal freedom sessions. Group training can be in the form of a Life Group or separate Freedom course. Personal freedom sessions are offered by appointment and are intended to help you connect with God's presence and voice in order to experience continued healing. The requirement for scheduling a personal freedom session is completion of both Essentials and Encounter.
