What is faith?
- “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
- “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”

How do we get faith?
- “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:17 NKJV
- “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Statements:
- Faith is necessary for anything positive transaction with God.

- Activated faith produces breakthrough!
- Unbelief shifts focus from God’s power to “if” questions, hindering compassion’s release. It acts as an obstacle by questioning God’s willingness or ability.
