Team Descriptions

This team helps with practical tasks that keep our church organized and welcoming. Projects ofter include updating setbacks with hate church information, preparing materials, and assisting with occasional office needs. It's a great fit for those who enjoy helping behind the scenes and keeping things running smoothly.

Why have an altar ministry team? The altar is where people in the Old Testament met with God. Leviticus 9:23-24. Even in our church today we recognize the altar as the primary place (not the only place) where people meet God. As an altar ministry worker, you will be helping people experience God's presence and power.

Do you love people? Then we need you to join the Care Team! It would entail visiting in home and hospital visits to pray for and encourage those who are not able to attend services at the church.

We're looking for volunteers who enjoy working with their hands and serving behind the scenes to help care for our church campus. The Facility Team helps with light maintenance, event setup, cleaning, and keeping out grounds welcoming for everyone who walks through our doos. If you love being part of a team and want to make a practical difference, we'd love for you to join us!

Help us greet new families and walk them through the check in process for Kids Church as well as help get them connected to other ministry leaders.

This team helps bring church events to life! From decorating & setup, to behind-the-scenes details, the Events Team assists with selected and designated church events throughout the year. Serving on this team is a way to use your creativity, organizational skills, and teamwork to make special moments happen for our church family.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress.

At times there are people in our church family that need help with tasks that may be difficult for them.

Needs can range from a broken step that needs fixed, a ride to Dr's appointment or some boxes moved.

By signing up for this group, you will be made aware of the needs as they come in from the church. You can choose to help with the needs that you want based on your skill and schedule.

Do you like to meet new people, being friendly and making them feel welcomed? Then the Host Team is for you!

We're looking for young people and well seasoned saints to be available before each service to be at the doors, out front waving signs and being in the lobby as well as in the sanctuary, to welcome everyone coming to services on Sunday mornings, first Wednesdays and other special events.

Lead and connect with kids in a fun, faith-filled environment. Help them feel loved, discover God's truth, and learn how to share Jesus with others.

At Calvary Church, we believe that selflessly loving people requires action. Let's Feed Citrus is our feeding outreach focused on mobile food distributions. We regularly see an average of 400 families come through our lines at each event, where we fill trunks with drinks, produce, canned goods, meats, and more. In addition, we operate a weekly food pantry, host pop-up events, provide emergency relief, and support homeless outreach.

Last year, we served over 10,000 cars through our lines and distributed more than 2 million pounds of food to families in need.

This ministry shares the love of Jesus through food! We organize & provide meals for those in our church who are in need, whether that means they are a new mom, they've been in the hospital, sick or a family member passes. We want to help provide some peace and comfort during those happy moments and even for the grieving moments.

Create a nurturing, safe environment where little ones begin to learn that they are deeply loved by God and others. Provide gentle care and comfort that helps each child feel secure and valued.

We are looking energetic people to help with parking congestion. You would help with parking alignment as well as traffic flow in between services on Sunday. Also you'll be the first impression people will have contact with, so a friendly smile is always a good thing!

Create a nursing, safe environment where preschoolers learn they are loved by God and others - and that Jesus wants to be their best friend forever.

Lead guided lessons and fun activities that help build a foundation of faith through play and connection.

At Calvary Church, the production team's mission is to create a distraction-free environment while amplifying the atmosphere of worship and spoken word. This is accomplished through striving for excellence in audio, visual and broadcast production.

There are opportunities to serve in production with the broadcast as a camera operator, special events (setup and operations, presentation (ProPresenter - lyrics/scripture) and audio (with training). Times of service include Sunday AM services, First Wednesdays, and Volume Students. A background check is required to serve in Volume Students.

For The Children (FTC) transforms communities by interrupting cycles of neglect, abuse, and abandonment of children in the foster care system. We fulfill our mission by providing a series of programs; all directed toward changing the trajectory of young lives.

We are looking for those interested in the safety of the church during services. If you are interested sigh up for an interview. Requires 1 year attendance, membership and background check.

This team provides breakfast for our Sunday Worship Team, as they serve throughout the morning. It's a simple but meaningful way to bless those who help usher us in to the presence of God in worship each week.

Whether you enjoy cooking, ordering or coordinating food pick, this team helps make Sundays feel like family.

Instrumentalists: Calvary's worship team include piano, electric, acoustic, bass guitar, drums, and are open to adding more stringed or woodwind instruments to our band! Sign up now and schedule an audition!

Vocalists: Vocalists on Calvary's worship team are called to do more than just sing, we lead the way in ushering in God's presence. Worship leaders are expected to sing on pitch, on beat (guided by a metronome) Sign up now and schedule an audition!

Volume Students is the Student Ministry of Calvary Church for students 6th -12th grade. We believe for this generation to be a voice in the wilderness as John the Baptist was to his!

Our goal is for each student to be saved, healed, empowered, and launched to be a voice for Christ in the earth today!
